This message may rub some people the wrong way at first… and that’s a Great thing. I don’t really mind as long as it helps a lot of people… At the end of the day, my responsibility is not to impress you, but to help…
Impressing you is not going to help you, speaking the truth in love will…
We’ve been sleeping in passivity and we need to wake up!!
Firstly, I get angry as you may too, at all the selfishness in the world, and all the “taking” mentality. Even walking down the street, you see way more frowns than smiles. That’s a choice we all make to acknowledge people with kindness, or just look inward…. I don’t necessarily think it’s their fault all the time, we are conditioned in our society to glorify self. But, for business and a joyful life that doesn’t really work. That’s the same choice you have to make now for your life and your business…
A smile costs nothing, or a word of encouragement. Then there’s the way we’re conditioned and the choice we sometimes make- out of laziness and fear- to want something for free, instant gratification, and that feeling of “getting over on someone.” I know we don’t mean to do it but sometimes we forget to have gratitude and look to rise above all of that…
Do you know what kinds of seeds self-focused people are planting? They are in store for a terrible harvest, where even their little that they do have will be taken from them. Please don’t be like that, know that I say this out of love and I really want to see you get where you want to go… Focus on what you can do for others…
If you want something of value, You must put in the effort, and build it through helping others. That’s the ONLY way your business will work for you (no a seminar or google tool won’t replace that sorry- it’s about who YOU are and who you CHOOSE to be). If you chase after money, you will just chase your tail—
If you chase after helping, building something great, and solving OTHERS problems, you will have people inundating you – ready to work with you, trusting you, and gladly paying for your guidance…
And guess what – your problems start to get solved WAY quicker than the days when your favorite motto was “but, what about me!?”.
You say you want to be a business person- OK – so is your mind focused on what you can GIVE to the marketplace to help people, or is it 90% focused on your last VISA bill?
O.K., You May Be Saying – “Yes, Damian – Easy for you to say.. You’ve Got It Pretty Good !!!”
But, is that Really accurate? What came first, the attitude or the result…?
Let’s take a look! Did I have this attitude first or the success first then the attitude? If you said success first then I cheered up and started helping others, sorry to disappoint but…

Do you know how many days I logged onto my bank account and saw a negative balance?

Do you know when the online banking balance is in red type, that’s not good!

Do you know how it feels to go to the grocery store and have to look at the bottom of the shelf to find the cheapest cheese, and still hope the card goes through?!

Do you know how it feels to have to say no to just going to Starbucks with your friend, because you can’t afford it and being too embarrassed to say why!? I DO.
But do you also know what I told myself throughout all that?
“I will NOT allow myself to get agitated, disturbed, and offended” I WILL NOT. I WILL FOCUS ON HELPING SOMEONE OR ENCOURAGING SOMEONE TODAY. THIS IS THE ONLY WAY FORWARD, AND I WILL NOT BE MOVED OR SHAKEN.
I WILL NOT BE MOVED!
SAY THAT OUT LOUD RIGHT NOW AND PLANT YOUR FEET FIRMLY!
Right NOW, It’s Decision Time for YOU (*yes you..). Perfect Love Casteth out Fear. That’s the environment we’re building here…. And I’m so grateful you’re rising up and being your best, outward looking self to impact others lives and succeed as a result!
Show as Much Love as You Can and Fear Will Surely Flee, and What You’ve Been Chasing Will Chase You. Let’s Get There Together!

I’m not asking to be a millionaire, just to live comfortably, pay my bills, and most importantly pray that someday I will have someone that feels they can turn to me and trust me as I do you, and their life will be a little easier.
I made the same comments when I wrote about your Grandpa, if people cared half as much about helping people as they did trying to outdo or screw them over, the world wouldn’t be in the shape it is in!

It is very true though, that to give is the way to go. My son is 9 tomorrow, yet again dad has failed to even send a card and he knows not to expect much, but we gave what we could to the victims of the Samoan tsunami last weekend and he commented how proud he was that he helped another child to get shelter and we all were again reminded how lucky we are. We live in luxury compared to millions.
Damian, you are a true giver in a world of greed and I know someday, I will and many others will be able to give as well because of your generosity.

I have been spiritual all my life and am a trained Healer, but times are tough and at the moment I am in a desperate place which is why i turned to the internet, (struggling there too) anyway, I have only been studying this for a few months, at one point I felt guilty and a fraud, then I hear words like yours, Johnaton Budd and a few others and it warms my heart, after all I can always find a niche there, but as long as we believe in what we are promoting and know it is what people are looking for to help them and not just about making money then thats ok, and you are right, we are all entitled to a good life, not to struggle, I believe that is one of lifes biggest lessons and in answer to one of your comments, no god would want you to suffer
