…How I Made ALL the HUGE Leaps Forward & …The 2 Last Slots….

…Well I won’t tell you the

secret just YET -

…actually did you know that some ways
of learning are a LOT more effective than

-Listening (Audio)
-Watching (Video)
-and…. ______

…In Reading, you may retain about
10% of what you read to memory-

…Listening is a little better -
about 20%…

…And- Watching- About 40%…

…Basically, you can collect
information and “analyze it” you
do learn to a certain degree-

-Maybe even up to 40-50% – and that’s

…Well- back to the STORY- anyway, do You know HOW I went
from earning $50 in a month- all of a sudden the
next month to over $1,000?…

…Do you know what I did when I had 3 people on my list- then
9 days later I had 1,982?…

…Do you know HOW I went from having 1,982 people on my list
to adding over 6,500 more- in the next 3 months?…

…Do You know another Week, HOW I added Over $1,600 to my recurring
monthly income- just in a 7 day period..?…

-THAT One thing – always took me from no production and just

“Information” into getting results-

…and Doubling and tripling my income each time…

…It always seemed to happen the SAME way- and it I can attribute

every LEAP to the same thing…

…It ALL happened when I SPOKE with someone PERSONALLY
and when I had 1-1 Mentoring…

…I can Honestly say Every single time- I made a LEAP
in my business-
it was from Mentoring with someone
more successful than myself- that had gone there before–

…Sure, it was a sacrifice at the time- but I know today-
I could never have gotten this far- this FAST- without
learning from the personal mentoring I did—

…Back to our science- SO when do you LEARN over
80% Retention and Get Results- When you DO, and When
you DO it together with a Mentor—

-So, To Sum Up – Learning and Doing- With A GUIDING Hand…

- Eliminated My Information Overload Every Time…

…and Multiplied my Results….

There is a lot of information out there, and more coming in every day. It is hard trying to be good at everything. The best thing is to follow the path of a mentor. I have learned a lot from several mentors, they all have different high points. I still have to decide which direction to follow through on myself. Probably what will work best for me is a combination of all that I have learned.

Wow buddy your on here too “Stumble upon” I found this through perhaps a mutual friend of ours Frank Kern? One of the things Frank taught me was to take that risk and ask those big top marketers if you can and see what they have to say in return , he also said that they might not respond to you as quickly or maybe not at all so quickly but its a safe risk and you should take them. Eban said the same thing, i remember him sending me one of his coaching videos, he knows about relationships thats for sure. Personally i make a little less that a 1.000.00 a month but just three years ago i made zip a month i’m hoping to make more than 5k by this time next year. Tellman my old mentor who taught so much in listbuilding is on the run now lol but its cool im pretty much got the hng of doing the right thing now. Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving brother. I attribute a HUGE amount of my success to my mentors and never take that for granted – sometimes the biggest investments for mentor training are the best – when you follow thru with what they say you move your business up to the next level much faster than you would doing it on your own

@Evan- Thanks Evan- I rarely offer personal mentoring- I may let 3 people over the next 6 weeks work with me personally, since I like to do things right and spend serious time with them to make big leaps in knowledge and progress- I’ll select these 3 people based on how much drive and energy I feel they will follow through with in the process – email me for details… damian@damianleon.com

I absolutely agree with you Damian that a mentor can assist you in making a giant leap forward. However it is very importance to choose the right mentor. On my first attempt I paid way to much and was never offered any advice that could help me in any way. The normal answer I received was I needed to hire a professional for that. So be sure of what you are looking for in a mentor, we need different kinds of mentors at different points in our internet marketing career. I look forward to getting to the level that you are at now, that would be a quantum leap for me at this point. Happy Holidays and best wishes!

One of the basics of coaching is “the power of two”. The partnership between coach and coached is one of the strongest contributors to the success of the coaching process. So call it coaching, or mentoring, or talking with your spouce or with a good friend – either way it will be much better than doing it all on your own.

I agree that the best thing is to get in and get your hands dirty and when a mentor is there guiding you it helps to eliminate the mistakes so the advancement is more rapid, but just getting your hands dirty and learning from mistakes raises the curve also, although not as high or as fast.

Having a mentor is great for those that can afford to do so. Some just don’t have a clue where to start or even where to begin looking. Others are so far down on the food chain that no matter what they know is right, they just cannot afford to do more than follow mentors by reading, listening and trying to put into practice. Those are the types (like me) that I am setting my goal to help.

The ones that have lost their dreams or forgotten how to dream or even worse, that have been told they are insane for dreaming. To prove to them that it can be done without having everything you read or see or hear. There are basic tools that are necessary and the rest just make the job faster and easier to accomplish but if someone really wants to succeed and improve their life, it can be done in slow steps that will assure they succeed and when they finish they know all the workings of their business and if later they run into problems, they will know what area it occurred in and be able to find a solution.

I guess, I learned all this from trial and error due to not having two pennies to rub together for many years, and still knowing because had seen the other side earlier in life. I have been up and down more times than I care to count. I am also an accountant and I have learned that if you don’t know how the business works, the embezzler can steal you blind. It isn’t just finances of your business that this pertains to. If you don’t know how or why your business succeeds or fails, then you don’t have a prayer of trying to correct it. If you can’t write a basic article for yourself and hire it done, then how do you know that the ones you are getting to use are any good. Everything in “YOUR” business revolves around “YOU — R”. That means your business operates in a given way because “you are” doing something.

Sorry for the rambling but it is important.

Thanks for the great training I have received from following you and I recommend more should do the same. My business has hit a minor glitch in the launch but is happening within the next 48 hours and Inner Focus Shop – one-stop information mall will come to life.

    Take care and God bless.

I have to admit that I’m in the same exact shoes as the others that are posting here. I’ve been trying unsuccessfully to get my hands on the amount of cash I keep reading about. Everything from SEO, listbuilding, keywords, domain name selection, etc… And, honestly it’s giving me a lot of valuable information, but always has major setbacks that leave me shaking my head in wonderment why I’m hitting these roadblocks. I’m not stupid in the slightest, but without having a mentor I sure feel like it. Hey, sounds silly, but with the amount of money I’ve wasted and the amount of ebooks I’ve read, or even the amount of videos I’ve watched I REALLY thought I’d have it down and be making MONEY by now. But, I’m sitting her STILL struggling to get my first sale. I know I know..sounds dumb, but I’m being honest. There’s no way in hell I’m giving up even if it takes me 19 years!!!!!!!!!!

I have purchased and participated in high-end ,middle and low-end programs.I have yet to really feel mentored.Sorry about the long post but, could you please define mentorship from an Internet Marketing position. My continued reading of your e-mails depends on it (LOL).

Some Answers to All Your Questions-

@Larry- Thanks I appreciate your compliment-

@Harvetta- You can get out of info overload- just ask yourself
one question with everything you do – is this building my list and
am I also making money on the back end of the list building?

@Shmaya- I agree- two heads are better than one – especially when one of them have done it already-

@Mary- How you see yourself is what you become and also what you can remain- or a person can see themselves higher in life
then work towards that – having faith it will happen! I won’t agree though that you should be a I’ll do it all myself person- you need to find out what works, systemitize it, and give it to someone else, as it pays for itself (the busy work) – but stay the creative person to create the business assets-

@Pierre – Thanks nice to see you again, speak a bit later-

@Hank – Yes, I understand how the showing can be frustrating without the how-to’s – good advice for anyone out there!

    @Ron- Thank you!

@Andy – Yes focus on one action and one project at a time, focus on
building assets and increasing your audience (list)

@John – Like you said actually a low information diet is the way to go
when you have the RIGHT action steps to follow – that’s why I continually preach list building first-

@Vivian – Hey Vivian, I may be offering some mentorship if you contact me directly-

@Jay – Hey Jay- Yea- It’s best to pick a few top people you feel good about and then stick with them- copy success!

@Adam- Are you sure about that ;) ? Now – that’s the spirit- Email me if you are looking for a mentor- damian@damianleon.com

@Monty- A lot of people say they can’t afford a lot of things, yet spend $150 dollars a week at Wal Mart on junk- pretty much, also things like Cable TV, Starbucks, Newspapers, Buying Too much food, not planning their driving right, another pair of shoes- etc- Sometimes you need to pair back a bit temporarily- to reallocate funds to something that builds you an asset- not liabilities-

@Kyle- The basic difference between buying a product and personal mentorship – is that in true personal mentorship – is just that- it’s personal- you get the person direct 1-1 that has done exactly what you want to do – eg: build a big list, make a good income online, be a top affiliate, create products, etc- When you buy a product, you get more of recordings but no specific 1-1 partnership to work together to solve any problems- so I found for myself in the past it’s saved me huge amounts of time-

There are mentors and there are mentors. Just because somebody is successful they aren’t neccasarily good at coaching success. I have
paid a lot of money for mentoring and did not get what I paid for by a long way. It’s true that you have to take action, but it kicks you back
hard when your mentor turns out to be just good at promises , light on results and quick to blame you. This did far more harm to me than not having mentoring at all, because since then I have been overly sceptical with opportunities that came my way. So have been stuck in stalemate and ended up jumping from one shiny thing to the next. How do I break out of this?

As for the 10,800 emails in my inbox? At lease half of it is IM info overload. I don’t have a chance to read much of anything, so I just download as many of the freebies that I’ve got time for (and I know I’ve got duplicate and triplicate stuff downloaded) so that they’ll be in my folders if I ever get a chance to go through them. I’m pregnant with my Third and feeling a bit over-whelmed about having 3 kids. Just wondering if it feels like a huge leap from Two to Three, or would you say that going from one to Two was a bigger change?

It was the great leap forward which made our country, directly and indirectly, into what is still the best country which has ever existed.

/ It took me a few WEEKS of pynilag with TED to get it to work right, and a few days of pynilag with EventGhost to figure everything with that out. I’d be more than happy to provide the batch scrips that I use for EventGhost, and I could possibly do a video tutorial for the EventGhost part of it if you still need help. Let me know and I can work something out!
