UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE ***** Senin 10/19/09 *****
<Personal Update dari Damian>
Anda dan saya tahu betapa pentingnya keluarga Anda dapat (siapapun mereka dalam hidup Anda), dan malam aku mengaku pada Anda (sebagai teman saya dipercaya) tentang kakek saya, yang pergi Jumat pingsan dan dilarikan ke Intensive Care.
Saya tidak menyebutkan bahwa Imam itu juga dilarikan ke rumah sakit untuk memberinya upacara terakhir, itulah cara yang sangat serius itu pada saat itu. Sebenarnya dia sepenuhnya biru, dan kami benar-benar berpikir itu saja.
Inilah yang menyebabkannya-mereka sengaja memberinya zat warna pencitraan terlalu banyak jantung yang mulai membanjiri paru-parunya. Nenek saya ada di dalam ruangan dan benar-benar harus berlari keluar untuk mendapatkan perawat, kemudian 7 perawat dan anggota staf berlari masuk dan mendorong kursi rodanya sangat cepat ke sisi lain rumah sakit.
Jantungnya berpacu pada tingkat ekstrim yang disebabkan oleh reaksi terhadap pewarna ini seperti yang kita tahu kemudian-juga dia tidak bisa bernapas. Dia harus terkejut dengan defribrillator serta oksigen yang diberikan ...
Apakah Anda tahu bila Anda memiliki keadaan yang benar-benar mengempis Anda dan membuat Anda ingin hanya meringkuk dan menangis-bahwa masih ada harapan?
Nah itu yang saya rasakan pada hari Jumat-benar rentan, tak berdaya, dan sangat sedih. Saya menulis surat di bawah ini untuk menjangkau dan Anda tahu apa - Anda benar-benar membantu saya. Mengapa? Nah, saat aku berbaring di sofa dengan komputer saya - sangat sedih setelah sudah menangis dan dengan besar sakit kepala Aku terus memukul refresh.Why? Begitu banyak doa dan komentar yang masuk!
Aku terus membacanya. Kemudian email mulai datang-di semua 250 pesan + sejauh ini (hampir 1.000 orang membuka surat pertama saya dan membacanya, dan saya yakin lebih banyak berdoa juga dan berharap kami dengan baik!) ...
Saya percaya pada kekuatan doa dan kesepakatan dari teman terpercaya. Aku tahu aku memiliki tanggung jawab untuk membantu orang (seperti yang kita SEMUA lakukan), dan apa yang saya pikir pada saat itu adalah bahwa-jika ia pergi, cara untuk menghormatinya adalah untuk mendapatkan serius tentang membantu orang sebanyak mungkin melalui hubungan kita-dorongan, bimbingan, dan pengertian.
Itu tidak selalu berarti hanya bersikap lunak itu berarti mengatakan apa yang berhasil, apa yang perlu Anda lakukan, dan berdiri Anda dalam perjalanan Anda sampai Anda tiba di sana-kita semua tumbuh bersama dan saling membantu ...
Nah apakah anda tahu apa? Dia berhasil melewati malam itu. Sabtu pagi, dia masih sadar , Dan mereka memutuskan untuk mencoba dan mengambil dia dari ventilator untuk melihat apakah ia bisa bernapas. Apakah Anda tahu apa? Dia melakukannya! Kemudian semua orang hanya duduk-duduk di dalam ruangan dan di sekitar 1215PM pada hari Sabtu, kami mendengar suara ini seperti "apa yang terjadi?"
Kami seperti - "Anda berada di rumah sakit - yang Anda lakukan baik Anda akan menjadi ok" - dan kemudian kita mulai berbicara. Dia benar-benar lemah karena tidak makan selama 2 hari + dan hanya memiliki infus. Tapi, ia benar-benar mulai bercanda sedikit pada jam berikutnya, lalu berkata ia lapar.
Hari ini - mereka pindah ke sebuah ruangan yang normal! Dia masih memiliki beberapa prosedur pada Rab dan Kam, sehingga mengikuti doa-doa dan pikiran. Tapi kita harus kembali dan itu sesuatu untuk harta karun.
SO ...

DARI Jumat 10/16/09
Ini hanya pesan singkat untuk menyenangkan berdoa atau mengirim keinginan baik Anda kepada saya malam ini. Malam ini kakek saya masuk ke Unit Perawatan Intensif dengan masalah jantung dan paru-paru, dan tidak concious sekarang.
Dia di Louisiana malam ini, dan saya mungkin harus melompat pada penerbangan pertama yang malam Tomm.
Saya sangat mencintainya dan saya sangat berharap dia membuat itu. Ketika saya masih kecil orang tua saya bercerai, dan tidak ada terlalu banyak. Saya merasa sangat kesepian di kali.
Di situlah kakek-nenek saya datang, saya adalah cucu saja, jadi rasanya seperti kakek-nenek saya adalah orang tua saya atau bahkan teman-teman terbaik saya - melalui beberapa masa sulit cantik. Aku bersama mereka sepanjang waktu - mereka memasak untuk saya, membawa saya untuk membeli pakaian, membawa saya ke sekolah dan gereja.
Selalu begitu baik dan menginginkan yang terbaik bagi saya. Lol nenek saya bahkan akan memberikan piring besar makanan dan mengatakan (Menjadi Italia yang penting makan banyak!) "Anda tidak makan apa-apa!"
Kami masih sangat dekat, nenek saya Irene, kakek Philip dan saya. Kakek saya biasa bermain Saxophone dan saya ingat ketika saya kecil mereka akan pergi menari dengan musik 50-an dan hanya suka bersenang-senang dan tertawa dan lelucon.
Tidak ada yang sempurna tetapi mereka beberapa orang yang paling baik dan paling memberikan Anda akan pernah bertemu. Jadi, silahkan malam ini saat Anda pergi tidur, berdoa jika Anda dapat untuk kakek Philip.

Berharap ia menarik melalui tetapi mempersiapkan diri untuk yang terburuk dan sampai di sana secepatnya. Kamu sangat lembut hati seperti aku. Saya memiliki pendidikan yang sama hanya ayah saya meninggal ketika saya hanya 1 tahun. Ibu saya yang 90 tahun sekarang (memberkati jiwanya) tinggal dengan saya.
